Monsanto Grant Provides $25,000 to MIS

Friday night, Monticello School District was awarded a $25,000 grant through America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education, a program that helps farmers support their local rural public school districts.
Since 2011, this Monsanto Fund program has given over nine million dollars to rural school districts to enhance math and science education.
Monticello School District would like to thank the area farmers for the nomination.
Monticello School District will be able use this grant to purchase Ipads to fund model classrooms for integrating the Project Lead The Way curriculum to enhance science with technology at the Monticello Intermediate Campus.
