9 am Update – Missing Female, near 425 N. Furniture Store Recovered Safe

Around 8 AM this morning, a resident and neighbor in the area of the HWY 425 furniture store between Monticello and Star City checked on a “old house“ located about 100 yards behind the store, and located a person believed to be the missing 23 year old Monticello female.
The Lincoln County sheriff and deputies responded, along with the local ambulance, and the lady was located, and safely reunited with her family, who were immediately planning to take her to receive appropriate medical care.

7 am Report – The Lincoln County Sheriffs Department has confirmed the report of a 23-year-old Drew County female, who was reported missing around 4 PM, Thursday, in the furniture store area of Highway 425, south of Star City, north of Monticello.
She was last seen wearing black clothing and a black scarf.
Search dogs were used, but the search ended on a gravel road in the area, and some believe someone in a vehicle may have picked her up.
