Missing 12 Yr.Old Safely Located by Officers & Searchers

A missing 12 year old child was reported to local law-enforcement dispatch around 5:30, Tuesday evening.
Law-enforcement officers, including MPD, DCSO, ASP, AHP and OEM quickly responded to the area, searching wooded trails near her home, in the Lake Monticello area.
Sources report that the child had gloves and a cell phone, which she used to contact officers, and provide coordinates to lead her safely to a lake access road, where she was safely recovered and returned home.
Neighbors also assisted with ATVs and side-by-sides, and everyone was appreciative to the officers for their quick life-saving response.
