Around 2:30 PM, Sunday, A minor fire was reported at Drew Memorial Hospital.
The fire was quickly extinguished by their security, with a fire extinguisher.
The Monticello Fire Department responded in seconds, from the UAM fire station, 2 blocks away.
As shown in the photo, the fire was limited to the end of a light fixture, in the front women’s restroom.
No other damage was done, and no patients were affected.
