At 7:45, Friday morning, the Drew County sheriffs department received word of a Ford Explorer rollover wreck on Midway Route, southeast of Monticello.

Sources at the scene reported that the vehicle’s wheel dropped off the side of the pavement, and the driver over corrected, causing the crash.

The female driver was transported to DMH by SEEMS, the male passenger did not require medical care.

JNA Wrecker removed the explorer.
