MHS Robotics Team Recognized by School Board
January 6th, 2016 by Joe BurgessThe competition is called “VEX Robotics: Nothing But Net”. It was held in Jonesboro at Arkansas State University in December. The MHS team finished in 2nd place and received the “Excellence Award”. That is the highest award presented in the VEX Robotics Competition.
The recipient of the award is a team that exemplifies overall excellence in building a well-rounded VEX robotics program. This team excels in many areas and is a shining example of dedication, devotion, hard work, and teamwork.
The School Board Presented an Appreciation Award, to the Monticello OEC Robotics Team, in their December meeting for outstanding loyalty, dedication, and commitment to the faculty, staff, and students of the Monticello District by demonstrating excellence in education Achievement.
