June 7th, 2012 by Joe BurgessAround 8:15, this morning, the Monticello Fire Dept. responded to the report of a fire on the yard of the recycling center, on East Jackson Street, at the old Burlington mill.

Should a big fire ever get well started, it would be a danger to the neighbors and to the church. Those old wooden pallets would burn, burn, burn!! Firefighters lives would also be at risk.
However, fire might be the only solution to getting rid of the mess.
Sounds like the city inspector should look at this property.
