Menotti Wins Local Constable Run-Off Election

David Menotti, the canine officer for Monticello Police Dept. won the Marion Township Constable republican runoff election, Tuesday, with a total vote count of 37–13 over Joshua Henley, a Lincoln County Deputy, who has dropped out of the race.
Marion Township covers all of Monticello, and approximately 1 mile around it.
Menotti (along with Cezar) told MLive, “I would like to thank the voters of the Marion Township for their support and for electing me as their constable.
My goals are simple; to assist law enforcement agencies in solving crimes within our township and providing support for all of our citizens.
A safer Drew County takes all of us and I am committed to doing my part in ensuring your family has a safe place to live and thrive!”
