Memorial Day MVAs

Around 6 PM, Monticello dispatch received a phone call about a pick up that had run off the levee at Lake Monticello.
AG&F and an State Trooper were the first to respond, followed by a Drew County Sheriffs Deputy.
No one was injured. It appeared that the young driver was written multiple tickets by the game and fish officer, after his vehicle was searched.
JNA Wrecker towed the Chevy.

While officers were still on the scene of the lake mishap, they were dispatched to a rollover wreck on Winchester Road, near Pine Hill.
Drew County Deputies then worked the scene, where an eastbound Mazda lost control and flipped, coming to rest in a road ditch.
MASI transported the injured driver to Drew Memorial Hospital.
Reggie’s Wrecker removed the vehicle.
