McKiever Appointed to Quorum Court

W. J. McKiever has been appointed to serve on the Drew County Quorum Court, by Gov. Mike Beebe, filling the remaining and upcoming terms of Billie Gober-Farrell.
Mrs. Farrell recently married and moved out of her service district, vacating her District 3 seat among the Justices of the Peace.
McKiever assumved that position, Monday night, following being sworn in Monday afternoon.
McKiever has been a longtime business owner in Monticello, and has served on the city council.
