Mayor Tucker “Very Close to Plea (Bargain)”

Monticello Mayor Zack Tucker appeared before Circuit Judge Bynum Gibson, Monday morning, charged with tampering with public record and abuse of office.
Today’s hearing was the “omnibus hearing” where the attorney stated that there is a “very good chance of a plea (bargain).”
No other details are available, except that, “We’re very close.”
If no plea is agreed upon, the court date for the trial will be February 21.
