This morning, MLive visited with Mayor Zack Tucker about the weather related issues facing our city, this week.

Tucker told us, “I’ve talked with Entergy officials, they expect power to the outer ring of Monticello to be restored this evening.”

“Entergy officials are hard at work restoring the some 19,000 Arkansans without power (down from 32,000 yesterday) including the 2,700 Monticello residents.”

Tucker continued, “Residents should cautious & safe today, as we wait for the power to be restored, and know that city services are up and running.”
