Master Gardener Online Training Signup Deadline is due by December 1st, 2018
November 19th, 2018 by SubmittedMaster Gardener online training for new members, will be available beginning January 2 and will end March 31, 2019. The deadline to sign up for this training is December 1, 2018. There will be a suggested timeline for the course week-by-week, but you can work at your own pace, as long as you finish the course by March 31.
Each potential volunteer/participant should fill out a Master Gardener Online Training Application, due back to the extension office by November 26, which can be obtained on the University of Arkansas Extension Service website at www.uaex.edu or by contacting Louisa Smith at 870-723-3560. Return your application to Steve Kelley, Drew County Extension Office, 210 South Main, Monticello, Arkansas 71655. After an interview process and acceptance into the program, and a payment of $120, you will be set up to take the course online. At the same time you will be assigned a mentor that will assist you, answer any questions you may have, and lead you through the process overall.
