Man Arrested Twice at Same House, withing 1.5 Hours
July 6th, 2009 by Joe BurgessOn Friday, June 27, Cedric Wells, age 23 of Monticello was arrested for criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct by the Monticello Police Dept. around 11 p.m., for entering a lady’s residence on North Gabbert Street.
Wells bonded out of jail, then approximately an hour and a half later, returned to the same residence, where he was again arrested and charged with residential burglary and multiple misdemeanor charges.
Wells bond was set at $50,000 the following Monday. Â He has since bonded out of jail again.

That’s scary. Arrested for CRIMINAL trespass and disorderly conduct…returning to the same home? I’m no law expert, but his bond should have been set so high that “less than 2 hours later” that he would have had to file for a bond reduction, had denied and held til court date. Folks full of stupidity yet lacking fear are dangerous. I hope the woman that had to go through this is okay. I myself would have a hard time sleeping with him running loose. And that’s just my view of it.
