Mainline’s Nichols Honored with Health Clinic “Vision Award”
September 28th, 2017 by iPhoneCommunity Health Centers of Arkansas honored Mainline Health Systems executive director Allan Nichols for his service last week in Little Rock.
CHCA presented Nichols with their Vision Award. The award goes to an honoree who has “contributed to Jack Geiger’s vision for the health center in a meaningful way.” Geiger is recognized as one of the pioneers of the community health center movement.
Nichols has directed Mainline since 2008. Community health centers across Arkansas offer affordable, quality health care to underserved, underprivileged patients.
CHCA is an advocacy group for the 12 health centers in Arkansas and the awards luncheon was a part of a two-day conference. Pictured at the luncheon (from left) are: CHCA chief executive officer LaShannon Spencer, mistress of ceremonies Anne Preston and Nichols.
