LA Man Arrested on $1,000,000 Bond by DCSO
September 29th, 2014 by Joe BurgessThe Drew County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Louisiana man, Wednesday, who wasa being sought on a $1,000,000 warrant.
Authorities received information that Barry Jones, of Bastrop, was staying in Drew County attempting to avoid charges out of Louisiana for DWI 4th offense.
Jones was apprehended by the Sheriff’s Office without incident but did attempt to give a false name forgetting that he was not wearing a shirt and had his name tattooed on his stomach. Jones was taken to the Drew County Detention Facility where he has signed a waiver of extradition back to the State of Louisiana on the $1,000,000.00 bond.
