I would call that an addiction. The same ones can’t pay their light bills, water bills, bank notes, taxes, etc. There is a difference between spending money and blowing money. Others behind the scenes benefit while the buyer suffers. It’s a vicious domino effect. Stay away from gambling! You’ll go broke.
