Lost Turkey Hunter Rescued by AG&F, DCSO & OEM
April 20th, 2022 by
Around 10 AM, a Cominto man was hunting in the area of his camp, west of S. Wilmar Rd., in the gravel area of Old Warren Road. While following a turkey call answer, he went further into the woods, through a partially flooded area, getting lost.

Shortly before noon, law-enforcement was notified that he was lost, and dispatched to locate him, and bring him to safety. The top photo shows OEM bringing him to the roadway and his side-by-side where he went into the woods, speaking with Sheriff Mark Gober. This photo shows for Arkansas game and Fish commission officers who were on the phone with the man, locating him, but we’re limited, because of the thick underbrush.

AG&F, DCSO & OEM responded to the scene. Here you can see the thick wooded area, where he was lost and rescued from. Once again, great work from our first responders!
