Local Woman Wanted by Ashley County Sheriff for Fake 911 Call
April 12th, 2016 by iPhoneAccording to the AshleyCountyLedger.com, the Ashley County Sheriff’s Department is seeking a warrant against a Monticello woman accusing her of communicating a false alarm.
The sheriff’s office, said Cieara Ramone Chavis, 32, of Winchester Road, will be sought on the warrant in connection with a false 9-1-1 call on Friday, April 1.
Chavis was a passenger in a vehicle when she apparently became involved in an argument with the driver. However, without the driver’s knowledge, Chavis is said to have placed a call to 9-1-1 and stated that she had been kidnapped by a Montrose man.
