Local Teams Win 2 Tournaments, Last Weekend

The Fifty-Six Lakers were crowned the 11th grade Gold division champions of The Insider Exposure Memorial Day Tournament held in Monroe, La, May 28-30th.
The Neaux Limit Lakers took the 12 th grade Silver
division championship as well. Antonio Jordan and Tramond Miller were named Co-MVPS of the 11th grade division. Tramon Miller Jr. was named championship MVP, scoring tournament high 36 points. Antonio Jordan was division’s leading scorer, rebounder and shot blocker. He was also named player of the game a division high three times. This local team includes players from Monticello, Warren and Rison.
