Local Storage Sales not “Wars,” like on TV
October 3rd, 2022 by Joe BurgessSaturday morning, University Storage, on Bowser Road at HWY 425, held a legally publicized storage building auction.
Unlike on TV’s “Storage Wars,” around a dozen people were present, with no yelling or confrontations taking place.
The auctions began with the locks being cut, followed by the balance being owed for rent being announced, and asking if anyone would pay that amount.
At that point, the items inside became property of the facility, owner, who ask if anyone would make an offer.
An offer of $300 from a local business person bought two of the storage sheds and everyone left. “happy enough.”
