Local Nurse Dies in HWY 65 Crash

B4BEF7C9-562A-42F4-97DD-10940688FF44A 35 year old Monticello nurse lost her life at 1 PM, Tuesday afternoon, near Macon Lake In Chicot County, in a two vehicle collision.

Melissa Forrest, a hospice nurse for a local agency, was traveling north on Highway 65, when her Toyota collided with the back of an AHTD work truck.

Arkansas State Police, Lake Village Fire & Rescue and Chicot County Deputies responded.
