November 28th, 2011 by Joe BurgessA Monticello man, arrested for stealing multiple items from his employer, was released on a $20,000 bond in February.
He allegedly fled to Los Angeles, CA, and was recently arrested there by U.S. Marshals.
Billy McCoy, age 46 at the time of his arrest, was transported back to Monticello, Wednesday, and is being held on a circut court bench warrant for failure to appear, without bond, until his first court appearance.

Local Man Out on $20,000 Bond for Stealing from Employer

A local furniture delivery employee was placed on a $20,000 bond, Friday, for allegedly stealing items from his employer, on multiple occasions. He is charged with “theft of property over $2,500.”
Billy McCoy, age 46, of Monticello, was arrested Thursday night, in a Lake Village motel, and transported back to Monticello.
He has been bonded out of the Drew County Detention Facility, at this time.
The business wants to express their appreciation to the Arkansas State Police, Monticello Police, and Lake Village law enforcement for the solving of this case.

why must you run I dont understand you made this hard for yourself. why did you come this way if you was running you should have stayed where you were.
Look like either way he was going to get caught, because it’s says Nathan ” That the U.S. Marshals caught him THERE which is in LA.” So this situation was a loose, loose….seem like he was going to get caught either way, if he came back home or not!!
