Local Man Killed While Assisting Wreck Victims

A 27 year old Tillar man was killed at 6:22, Tuesday morning, after he had stopped to help victims at an automobile collision at HWY 65 and HWY388 in Lincoln County.
As Mitchell Head was crossing the roadway to get to the victims, he was struck by a southbound Freightliner tractor trailer.
The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police, who described the road conditions as wet and foggy.
