Local Leaders Visiting Washington DC, Supporting Area Projects

At least 10 business, community, and economic leaders from Monticello are visiting Washington DC’s Arkansas delegates today and tomorrow, seeking federal support for local projects.
Projects expected to be discussed by “20 for the Future” include I-530, I-69, and the need for a new science building at UAM.
Meetings are planned with Sen. John Boozman, Sen. Mark Pryor, and Congressman Tom Cotton on Tuesday.
