Local Lawyer Elected to Bar Position
June 3rd, 2015 by iPhoneMonticello attorney Lee Douglas Curry of the law firm Gibson & Keith, PLLC has been elected to a three year term in the House of Delegates of the Arkansas Bar Association.
The House of Delegates is the Association’s policy-making body and consists of 81 attorney members from across the state. He was elected to the position by attorneys from the 10th and 13th Judicial Circuits
Mr. Curry is a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law at Fayetteville and practices in state and federal courts in Arkansas. He has previously served the Bar Association as an attorney-coach for Monticello High School in the Mock Trial Competition. As a Delegate, he aims to expand the accessibility of legal services to residents of rural communities. Mr. Curry joined Gibson & Keith in 2014. He is a native of Sheridan and a graduate of the University of Arkansas Walton College of Business
The Arkansas Bar Association is a voluntary, statewide organization with more than 5,000 members. Among its purposes are the advancement of the administration of justice and the fostering among its members high ideals of integrity, learning and public service.
