Local Lady Killed in Accident on Florence Road
March 11th, 2013 by Joe BurgessA Monticello woman was killed in a single vehicle truck accident on Florence Road, Sunday afternoon, around 3:45.
Lisa Calhoun, age 50, was, the driver of the Dodge pick-up, and was transported by MASI to Drew Memorial Hospital, after Monticello Fire and Rescue extricated her from the passenger side of the partially crushed cab of the truck.
The vehicle was traveling west, when she lost control, and struck several trees on the south shoulder of the roadway.
A passenger, the owner of the truck, was not injured.
Drew County Deputies worked the crash, assisted by Arkansas State Troopers, Reliable Wrecker removed the vehicle.
