The Monticello man told officers that he and Hunnicutt were traveling through Camden, going to Monticello, and had a flat tire. Hunnicutt had attempted to make a call for help, and started walking north on the southbound side of highway behind him, while he was trying to flag down traffic and when the Kia swerved to avoid hitting him, but struck Hunnicutt.
