Donaldson’s Gun Shop & Sporting Goods Destroyed by Fire – Update

Around 2:20, Wednesday morning the Monticello Fire Dept. Received an alarm page reporting trouble at Donaldson Gun Shop & sporting goods.
Firefighters responded, and battled the blaze, till around 7 AM.
One firefighter received medical treatment from SEEMS, due to the extreme heat of the blaze, but was soon able to return to battling the fire.
Westgate Drive was closed for several hours because of the fire trucks and hoses.
The building, formerly known as Sully’s, as well as all inventory, was totally destroyed.
Because of the contents, an ATF (alcohol, tobacco and firearms) agent was dispatched, according to their operating policies.
