Local Girls Compete In National Dance Competitions
July 26th, 2013 by SubmittedMary Beth Wigley and Charlee Carter competed at National Dance Competitions this week. Both girls competed in the Intermediate Level of competition (based on number of hours at the studio each week and number of years of competition experience).
Mary Beth competed at the Showbiz National Finals in Arlington, TX with her lyrical routine “Drops of Jupiter.” She received a Platinum award, 3rd high point in the lyrical category, and 1st runner up in the costume competition. This routine was choreographed by Toni Harris.
Charlee Carter competed at the Star Systems National Finals in Panama City Beach, FL with her tap routine to “Pencil Full of Lead.” She received a Platinum award, 1st place in the tap category, and 1st overall. This routine was choreographed by Allison Neill.
Both girls are students at Monticello Dance Academy and will begin their 10th year of lessons this fall.

I know both these girls and they are wonderful kids as well as dancers!!! Monticello was represented well with these 2 girls!!!! Keep on dancing Mary Beth and Charlee!!!!
