Local Driver Dies in Auto Accident.

According to the Arkansas State Police, a Drew County man lost his life, as his truck ran left the roadway on HWY 278, three miles east of Monticello.
Sandy Leonard, age 86 of Ables Creek Road (Tillar) died in the crash, when his 1994 Ford pick- up was traveling westbound. He reportedly passed out, left the roadway, crossing a ditch, driving through a fence, and coming to a stop in a nearby field.
MASI transported the victim to DMH where he was pronoumced as deceased.
Arkansas State Police worked the crash scene, assisted by the Drew County Sheriff’s Dept.
