Lawyer’s Office Fire Contained to Kitchen Area

The Monticello Fire Dept. responded to a building fire at the Barton Law Office, located at the corner of North Main and Oakland Streets.
Witt Barton, owner, told MLive the fire seems to have started in the kitchen area of the office, and was basically contained to that area. Barton added that no client’s files were affected by the fire.
