Lake Village Shooting Reported, Suspects Could be Charged as Adults
March 30th, 2015 by Joe BurgessAccording to the Lake Village police chief, 4 juveniles were involved in a shooting incident, just before midnight on March 23.
3 juveniles were arrested, and the victim was airlifted to Pine Bluff.
The shooting took place near the intersection of Chicago and Hamburg Street in Lake Village, involving the four teenagers.
The prosecuting attorney’s office is considering charging the 3 juvenile suspects involved in the shooting as adults. At the time of this interview, they were being held in the White River Juvenile Detention Facility in Batesville.
The investigation is still underway.

In my opinion if they are old enough to do the crime and are found guilty they should be charged as adults. To many kids know they wont get into much trouble for doing crimes because they are underage and get nothing but a slap on the wrist.
