Lake Monticello Update- Will be Lowered Again, for Improvements by AG&F, this Summer, On CC Agenda for Next Tuesday

Since it’s recent lowering, in order to allow for levee repair, Lake Monticello has been refilling, at a higher than expected rate due to the recent heavy rains.
As will likely be explained in greater detail at the March 27 City Council meeting, By AG&F, the lake will be lowered, after water levels in the Saline River reach a level that is safer than their current status.
Some of the improvements that are expected to be made include adding/increasing habitats, food plots, and other fish friendly features.
