Mayor David Anderson told the City Council at their meeting, last week , that the city will lower the level of Lake Monticello soon, while the levee is being repaired.

When asked “lowered by how much?” by MLive, Anderson replied that he didn’t know, implying  that this decision would be made as needed, during the levee improvements.
