Lake Monticello Catches Dodge

The driver of this Dodge pick-up had a “bad day at the lake”, Monday afternoon.
According to reports, the Monticello man seems to have lefr his pick-up in neutral or reverse, as he got out to unload his boat.
The Dodge slowly rolled down into the cold water of Lake Monticello, knocking him down with his large side-mirrors.
Although the wipers and lights continued to work, even as it was removed from the water, the vehicle appears to be a total loss.
Eric Chisom, of the Monticello dive team, hooked the cable from C&L Wrecker to the truck, to remove it from the lake.
Drew County Sheriffs Deputies also responded to the accident.
