Knife Weilding Man Robs Local Store

A 35 year-old man was arrested by Monticello Police, Monday morning, after an all-night search for the armed robbery suspect.
Jacob Foster allegedly confronted the operator of Sherwin-Williams paints around closing time, 6 PM Sunday, threatening them with a knife.
After the robbery, he fled on foot to the west, through the woods behind Fred’s shopping center.
MPD and DCSO officers searched through fields and ditches, but were unable to find him, until early morning.
An employee of a wood/cabinet shop, near Scogin Drive, opened the shop Monday morning, and saw the suspect sitting inside.
Monticello Police quickly responded taking foster into custody.
District Judge Bruce Anderson set his bond at $250,000, on the probable charges are of armed robbery, commercial burglary, and theft of property.
