Kiwanis Wins Community Service Award
March 17th, 2016 by iPhoneKiwanis was awarded a Community Service Award by Daughters of American Revolution during a recent meeting.
Deanna Doherty and Vicki Ross accepted the award. Judge Akin and Mayor Tucker wrote letters of recommendation for Kiwanis to receive the award for their projects.
They place American Flags around the Courthouse, City Hall and the City Square each Spring and the flag display has grown tremendously.
Another project is Bedroom Renovations for children and they have renovated 40 bedrooms.
Kiwanis is a great asset to our community.
