Kindred at Home Launches Food Fundraising Drive

Kindred at Home – Monticello is proud to be entering into their annual fall Food Drive.
Kindred at Home Monticello will be supporting the Hope Place in Monticello.
This year, respecting the safety and wellbeing of employees and the community, the company has shifted its focus from collecting non-perishable food donations throughout the community to an online fundraising drive benefitting Feeding America. With an estimated 1 in 6 Americans facing hunger as a result of the pandemic, it is more important than ever to support community food banks and help those most in need.
“Our caregivers often tap into community resources to best serve our patients and their families, so they know firsthand the demand for assistance placed upon food banks, pantries and other charitable organizations,” said Holli Pope, RN, Monticello Executive Director.
Kindred at Home is the nation’s largest provider of community care, personal home care, home health, palliative and hospice care. Our locations provide in-home skilled nursing, physical occupational and speechtherapies, social work and help with daily living activities to residents with in a 50 mile radius of Monticello. Thelocation provides care to primarily Ashley, Bradley, Cleveland, Chicot, Desha, Drew, and Lincoln counties. They also provide care to parts of Arkansas, Calhoun, Dallas, Grant, Jefferson, and Union counties.
