Jury Says 2 Life Sentences for First Degree Murder / Robbery / Theft Trial
September 13th, 2018 by iPhoneA Drew County Circuit Court jury spent the day hearing the murder and armed robbery case of Jerrell Terry, one of two defendants in the Nov. 14, 2017 Wilmar shooting death of Christon Sheets, who was chart along with co-defendant Dominez Figures, who is not on the trial, today.
Terry was found guilty of 1st degree murder, aggravated robbery and theft of property, and went back into the jury running to determine sentence at around 5 PM.

At 5:45 pm, Jerrell Terry was sentenced to life in prison on the first degree murder charge, as well as the aggravated robbery conviction.
The jury sentenced him to 15 years on the theft of property charge,
The jurors recommended he serve the sentences consecutively.
Judge Sam Pope pronounced those as the final sentence, except that “life” sentences, without parole dates, are run concurrently.
