Jury Begins Deliberation – Life, without Parole, or Death Penalty – Update
January 28th, 2016 by iPhoneAt 11:35, a Drew County jury of 4 men and 8 women began deliberation, to decide if Jonathan Woods would serve the rest of his 30 year old life in prison, or be sentenced to death by lethal injection, for the death of Samantha Poole, on March 14,2014.
While closing arguments covered a wide range of topics by both attorneys, prosecuting attorney, Thomas Deen ended his statement with the simple phrase, “The state is not in the business of forgiveness (for murder).”
