Judge, Treasurer, & JPs Honored with Plaques on Retirement
December 18th, 2012 by Joe BurgessFollowing Monday night’s quorum court meeting, the retiring members of the group were recognized for their service to the county.
Louis Dunlap has served as a JP for 20 years; Jimmy Potter served his district for 30 years. Dr. Steve Morrison was appointed to the quorum court to fill an un-expired term for the past 2 years.
County treasurer Shirley Hancock served from 2001-2012. Judge Damon Lampkin was also honored for his 14 years of service. Lampkin was a UP, before becoming County Judge.
