Judge Puts Jim Hall Back on the Ballot
September 15th, 2016 by Joe BurgessThis is the letter from special Judge David Laser to the Drew County election commissioner and County Clerk.
Bolin v. Hall, et al. Drew. Div. 3. 22CV-16-153-3 (Plaintiff Motion to Excuse Govt. Party Witnesses)
In light of filing and Mr. Hall’s impending “rule 60/55” hearing, take no action at this time to remove Mr. Hall’s name from the ballot. I will set this matter for another hearing one day next week upon the filing of an appropriate motion to review, etc. the ruling of the court on 9/12/16.
David N Laser
Special Circuit Judge

Question? If you are in fact indigent, how do you produce the money for the filing fee to run for office on the republican ticket? Mr. Hall claims to be the republican nominee but the republican party says he is not and wants him removed from the ballot. Did he just file or was there a nomination process? Also, how much was the filing fee that Mr. Hall produced to run for this office? Just curious. Anybody have any answers?
