Jefferson Regional has announced its plans to acquire Monticello Medical Clinic, as well as the associated clinics in Star City and Crossett, effective February 1, 2022.

Jefferson Regional President & CEO Brian Thomas says, “Monticello Medical has been providing quality medical care across South Arkansas for many years.

Patients should expect to receive the same great care they always have, from the same team of excellent physicians.

Current medical providers include Sylvia Simon, M.D.; Timothy Simon, M.D.; Michael Fakouri, M.D.; Julia Nicholson, M.D.; James Atkins, M.D.; and Amanda Bickford, APRN
