March 21st, 2017 by iPhone
Jim Hall was arrested by Drew County Sheriff’s Deputies, Monday afternoon around 2:15.
As Hall was entering the jail, he was reading from what appeared to be a prepared statement, accusing
the court system for not letting him complete his appeal process ( which he has been appealing for 3 years) and making accusations against his former wife and family members, and MLive for its coverage of his multitude of cases.
This case of harassment/harassing communications started in 2014, in District Court.
It was then appealed to Circuit Court, where Hall again lost and his sentence was set by a jury to a year in jail with all but 90 days suspended.
Over the past 2 years, Hall has appealed the misdemeanor conviction verdict to the state Appeals and Supreme Courts, losing both appeals.
Hall filed as a Republican State Representative candidate last year, before being disqualified for a fraudulent hot check arrest out of Faulkner county. Since then, he has announced his candidacy for state representative for the 2018 race.
