As of Monday morning, DMH has a new interim administrator appointed, to take the place of former CEO Michael Layfield, who resigned Friday.

Linda Orrell, director of nursing, will serve as interim administrator, as the DMH board begins their search to fill the vacant CEO position.

Orrell told MLive,  “I’m here to support the hospital in whatever capacity I can.  This is my community hospital.”

Linda had 29 years experience in nursing and  medical administration capacities
