Inez Lindsay’s 100th Birthday
December 15th, 2020 by
Joe Burgess
Born Dec. 10th, 1920, Inez Lindsay turned 100 last Thursday!
She celebrated with a big party attended virtually by her many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren! She worked for years in the public schools as a foster grandparent. She is also a pastor’s wife and regularly leads in prayer and hymns among her many friends at Grand Manor Assisted Living in Monticello.
At her party she received greetings from numerous friends and family, opened cards and gifts, cut the cake and preached all of us a sermon on enduring hard times patiently and treating others kindly and loving God all our lives. Did we mentioned she received 100 red roses from her family.
Happy, Happy Birthday, Mrs. Inez!.
Her cake was “Bible layer” and white cakes for the top and bottom books
