Ice Arrest on 425 South by DTF, MPD & ACSO

According to Lt. Jason Akers of the 10th Drug Task Force, a joint investigation with the Ashley County Sheriffs Department led to the arrest of an Ashley County man on felony drug charges, on highway 425 S. in Monticello.
According to Akers, Doyle Frank Kelley Jr., age 52, of Hamburg was arrested by Task Force Agents, Ashley County Sheriff’s Deputies and Monticello Police at a local business after Agents received information Kelley was in possession of a quantity of ice, in late February.
Agents located the methamphetamine in Kelley’s pants pocket.
Kelley received bond in the amount of $25,000, and was booked into the Drew County Jail. He has since been released.
