HWY 82, East of Hamburg Lane Closure Planned

Improvements to Highway 82 will require lane closures in Ashley County, according to AHTD officials.
A crew will use gravel to widen shoulders on Highway 82. The existing two foot shoulders will be widened to six feet. The work will be performed between Hamburg and Snyder and will reduce traffic to one lane.
The lane closures will begin Monday, August 3rd and continue for two to three weeks. The closures will only occur between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., each day, weather permitting. All lanes will be open overnight.
