All 5 lanes of  HWY 425 S. are being detoured through the Union Bank and Fred’s / Commercial Bank parking lots , following a log truck accident.

This log truck was southbound on HWY S., near Fred’s, when a small vehicle pulled out of the parking lot, stopping in the southbound lanes, before pulling onto Bolling Street.

The log truck did not strike this motor vehicle, and  no one was injured.

Monticello Police will shut down both southbound and the turning lane on HWY 425, to make room for a log-loader and another truck, you cross load the logs .

Hopefully, the road will reopen by dark .
